About the Limited X-Ray Operator Course

What is a limited radiography operator?

Our course provides a complete digital delivery of resources for those who need to operate x-ray equipment in a limited capacity. A Limited Radiographer produces routine images of the chest, extremities, spine and sometimes of the skull and/or sinuses. Learn how to use ionizing radiation for diagnosis in medical and chiropractic offices, clinics, and smaller or rural hospitals.

Test Prep with Mock Exam

Our 2-part Test Prep System based on the ARRT Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography test specifications.

The TEST PREP permits multiple attempts at each question, requiring the correct answer before advancing. There are feedback statements for each option. Students are encouraged to understand WHY answers are correct or incorrect. The MOCK EXAM permits only 1 attempt on each question and students must complete all items and receive a score. The goal is to improve the score until it is 85% or better. This is NOT a guarantee of passing the licensing exam. Students are encouraged NOT to memorize, but learn from this process.

Course Requirements

  • Bring your own device. Our course and test prep works on your desktop, laptop, tablet and even your phone!

  • Find a local supervisor to complete the hands-on requirements. Qualifications vary by state, but an ideal supervisor is an RT.
