This chart is for a medium to high frequency generator and a 400 speed film/screen imaging system. It includes optional techniques for high detail (100 speed ) extremity cassettes. Typically these control panels allow the operator to change kVp and mAS. They might have an option to vary mA and seconds separately and/or they might read out the seconds after completion of the exposure.

There are 2 charts included with this selection for a medium to high frequency generator and a digital imaging sytem. One chart is targeted to digital imaging that has a nominal speed of about 250. The other one is targeted to digital imaging that has a nominal speed of about 400. The control panel is considered to be the same as described in #1.

The kVp might be selected from major and minor knobs or push buttons. The time selections are often fractions or fractions and decimal equivalents.
