X-ray Continuing Education
Web conferencing is used to conduct live meetings or presentations via the Internet. In a web conference, each participant sits at his or her own computer and is connected to other participants via the internet. You can participate by typing a question, or if you have a mic and a webcam you may get involved by contributing on camera or you may just watch and listen.
The benefits are many:
1. Credits will be ASRT category A approved unless otherwise stated. (Some webinars will be directed to students.)
2. You will save money and time. No travel, no lodging, no babysitter, and no food expense (except what you get out of your own frig.)
3. You can even be in your PJs. (You must be "dressed" if you plan to be seen on camera.)
4. Here is the best part, join us at no cost, if you are not satisfied you don't need to do anything, but if you want to receive catagory A approved credit pay the fee. That's it. You do need to preregister (ASRT attendance rule).

Future topics include Control Panel and Technique Managment, Skull and Sinuses, Pediatrics. Webinars will be scheduled the 4th Thursday of the month excluding June.
ASRT's webinar attendance rules are:
You must be preregistered.
We need to record when you log on and when you log off. Please log on between 7:15 and 7:30 PM Central Daylight Time (8:15 Eastern, 6:15 Mountain, 5:15 Pacific.)
You will be given a link at the end of the presentation. When you go to that site, there will be a short verification survey. You will answer the questions, send the survey to us, and we will return your certificate by email to the address you have supplied.
ROC's refund policy:
You may cancel up to the day before the presentation for a full refund or credit towards our next webinar.
In the event of technical difficulties on your end, call our 800# within the first 15 minutes. If it cannot be solved, we will refund your money or give you a credit towards a future webinar.
In the event of technical difficulties on our end, we will reschedule.
There will be no refunds to those who do not successfully complete the survey. Full attendance is required by ASRT and the answers to the survey questions will be given at various times during the presentation.

Our coordinator, Connie Lyon RT,(R)(QM) will be the primary instructor. She is a seasoned and competent instructor in a wide variety of radiography topics. She enjoys teaching principles that work and aiming for workplace relevance.
